ABRASION RESISTANT ANTI-FOGGING AGENT AND METHOD OF FORMING ABRASION RESISTANT ANTI-FOGGING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a film inexpensive with excellent preservation and excellent in mass production and, simultaneously, having strong adhesion to exhibit excellent abrasion resistance and anti-fogging properties with certainty. SOLUTION: A method of forming an abrasion resistant anti-fogging film comprises a film-forming step of using an abrasion resistant anti-fogging agent containing an inorganic-organic hybrid component having a hydrophilic group and curable by polymerization to form a uncured film composed of the abrasion resistant anti-fogging agent on a substrate and a polymerization step of irradiating the uncured film with ultraviolet rays to form an abrasion resistant anti- fogging film on the substrate. The inorganic-organic hybrid component imparts high hardness to the film by the inorganic component included therein. Further, the hydrophilic group imparts anti-fogging properties to the film.
