PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device having a shading structure for preventing a recording medium contained in a sheet containing means from being exposed. SOLUTION: A main body 12 of an image forming device 10 has an upper chamber 42a and a lower chamber 42b therein. The upper chamber 42a is formed of a shading roller, and shaded by a pair of rollers 92 disposed in the vicinity of a penetrating hole 94, while the lower chamber 42b is shaded by guide plates 102a, 102b, and 104a, 104b attached over from the vicinity of the penetrating hole 94 to a penetrating hole 98, and a pair of rollers 106 formed of shading rollers and attached to the guide plates 104a, 104b.
