PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum for molding a tire which is an embodiment of structural simplification with a reduced number of parts. SOLUTION: This rotary drum for molding a tire is equipped with a plurality of drum flanges 2 which encircle a main shaft 1 and form a cylindrical drum in total assembly for applying a tire constituent member to the surface of the drum during its synchronized rotation with the main shaft 1. In addition, a slider 3 is moved forward/backward along the axial center of the main shaft 1 between the main shaft 1 of the rotary drum and each of the drum flanges 2 to change the set level of the drum flange 2. Thus the slider 3 expands and contracts the diameter of the drum.
