<p>Non-sedimenting emulsions with a long shelf life, containing
a) from 10 to 40% by weight, based on the emulsion, of (A) phenolic antioxidants and antioxidants from the series consisting of (B) thiodipropionic acid esters and/or (C) organic phosphites,
b) from 0.25 to 10% by weight, based on the emulsion, of a surfactant of the formula R-COOY where R is alkyl having 3 to 18 carbon atoms or alkenyl having 3 to 18 carbon atoms or phenyl-C3-C18-alkyl, and Y is an alkali metal,
c) from 0.25 to 10% by weight, based on the emulsion, of an alcohol of the formula R'-OH where R' is alkyl having 4 to 19 carbon atoms or alkenyl having 4 to 19 carbon atoms or phenyl-C4-C19-alkyl, and
d) the remainder to 100% by weight of water.
