PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate confirmation of soundness even in a facility in operation. SOLUTION: This joint screws sleeves 10 on both end parts of a joint main body 7 in which small diametrical tubes 4 are inserted from both ends and forms seal parts by two pieces each of O-rings 12, 13 between the joint main body 7 and each of the small diametrical tubes 4. Fixing pipes 15 are installed in through holes 14 provided in the diametrical direction on the joint main body 7 to be an intermediate position of each of the seal parts. Pressure pipes 16 are connected to the fixing pipes 15. The pressure pipes 16 are made to pass through a shield cell 1, and pressure gages 18 are installed on outside positions of the shield cell 1. Pressurized air is guided by the pressure pipes 16, and existence of leakage of the seal part due to each of the O-rings 12, 13 is confirmed by reading a value of the pressure gages 18.
