PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the ink density constantly even at the time of accelerating or decelerating the printer drive speed by storing a conversion curve for matching the printing speed and the rotation speed of an ink fountain roller, and controlling the rotation speed of the ink source roller based thereon. SOLUTION: In a control part 13a of a control device, an accelerating or decelerating command signal for the machine, and a rotation speed of a blanket cylinder are inputted. Furthermore, the control part 13a reads out a control pattern for controlling a motor for the rotation drive of the ink fountain roller from a pattern memory part 13b. A plurality of conversion curves are stored in the pattern memory part 13b as a control pattern for matching the rotation speed of the blanket cylinder and the rotation speed of the ink fountain roller. Upon receipt of the accelerating or decelerating command signal from a rotary press, the control device selects and reads out a conversion curve from the memory part 13b, and converts the rotation speed of the blanket cylinder to the rotation speed of the ink fountain roller based thereon as the printing speed. |
