PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean an opening by using one tip of a flexible pipe formed in a thin elliptic shape as an open port, opening suction openings in four directions of the periphery of the tip and providing a tapered joint to connect with a suction hose of a vacuum cleaner at the other tip. SOLUTION: When a joint 4 of an opening-cleaning device is inserted into the suction hose of a vacuum cleaner and the operation of the cleaner is started, the device begins to suck strongly from a clear aperture 2 and a suction hole 3 at the tip portion. The opening-cleaning device is inserted into an opening of furniture or a refrigerator for cleaning, and since the device has suction openings in five directions, it can suck dust from all direction. The use of a flexible pipe 1 permits cleaning of clearances of furniture or shelves above the level of the eyes while freely bending the opening-cleaning device. In the case of cleaning a carpet, a Futon(Japanese quilt and mattress), a Tatami(rush mat), or the like, while holding the middle portion of the flexible pipe 1 and tapping the flexible pipe 1, cleaning can be carried out very efficiently and sanitarily without whirling dust, or the like.
