PURPOSE: A machine is provided, for making a margin to sew up in leather exterior material. CONSTITUTION: A machine comprises a working stand (1); a leather material supporting apparatus (2) on the stand (1); and an apparatus for making a margin to sew up (3) in leather material. The leather material supporting apparatus (2) comprises a supporting plate (22) at the terminal of an air pressure driven piston rode (24) to press the leather material on the working sheet (12) with a supporting plate (22) by the drive of the air pressure apparatus (21). The apparatus for making a margin to sew up (3) comprises a margin head (31) to be hinged on the edge of the working stand (1); the margin head (31) is connected with the piston road (33) of the air pressure apparatus (32) and opened and closed by the movement of the air pressure driving road (33); and a stopper (37) for setting leather material is set at the edge of the apparatus for making a margin to sew up (3).
