TRANSMITTER FOR WIDEBAND-CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS WITH DIRECT SEQUENCE SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A transmitter for wideband-code division multiple access(CDMA) with a direct sequence system is provided to lower hardware complexity of the transmitter by using a simple element such as an exclusive OR gate instead of a multiplier. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter for wideband-code division multiple access(CDMA) comprises many multipliers(141-146) and many pulse shaping filters(151-154). The multipliers secondly diffuses signals, a real number unit of a complex scrambling code, and an imaginary number unit of the complex scrambling code. The signals firstly diffuse input sequences of a dedicated physical data channel(DPDCH), a dedicated physical control channel(DPCCH) as channelization codes. The real number unit calculates the signals as complex numbers. The imaginary number unit calculates the complex numbers. The pulse shaping filters perform pulse shaping filtering processes to make resolution of signals output from the multipliers into '1'.
