STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING CROSS VALVE IN CISTERN TANK

PURPOSE: A structure for mounting cross valve in cistern tank is provided to utilize the space in a boiler effectively by providing a constitution that a connecting section(66) and an insert hole(67) which intersect each other crosswise are provided on one side of the bottom of a cistern tank(60), a blocking ball(76) of a cross valve(70) is inserted into the insert hole(67), and a fixing plate(72) of the cross valve(70) is fastened and fixed on the bottom of the cistern tank(60) by fastening screws(80). Also, the structure is provided to reduce the number of parts and, thus, to reduce manufacturing cost by providing a constitution that a casing part for fixing the cross valve(70) is formed to be integrated with the cistern tank(60). CONSTITUTION: A structure for mounting cross valve in cistern tank comprises an insert hole(67) formed on a position opposing to a water carrying conduit(62) in one side of the bottom of a cistern tank(60); a hot water connecting conduit(64) for supplying hot water to a heat exchanger(40) for hot-water supply, which is integrated to a bottom side of the cistern tank(60) in a direction being perpendicular to the insert hole(67); a connecting section(66) with a through hole(68) formed in a position opposing to the hot water connecting conduit(64), to which a heating water supply conduit(36) is connected; a plurality of threaded grooves(69) formed in a depressed configuration with a proper depth on the opposite bottom surfaces about the insert hole(67); and a cross valve(70) of which fixing plate(72) is fixed to the cistern tank(60) by a plurality of screws(80) being fastened into the threaded grooves(69) and a blocking ball(76) of a rotating motor(71) blocks the through hole(68) and the hot water connecting conduit(64).
