PURPOSE: A fertilized egg layer system is to provide optimized conditions for layers and thereby produce eggs of good quality. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises at least one layer unit(10); and a conveyor(35) in the form of a net provided on a central plate(11) of the layer unit(10) for collecting the fertilized eggs with a driver(20) and a guide roll(37). The layer unit(10) includes a conveyor passage(11a) defined by the central plate(11); right and left bodies(12)(13) having a plurality of separate chambers(15)(15); a support(17) downwardly provided in the separate chambers(15)(15); a mat body(18) supported on the support(17); a wide inlet(15a) on the outer side of the mat body(18); and a narrow outlet(15b) in the mat body(18).
