PURPOSE: An electronic equipment with common connector is provided to achieve a significant reduction is consumed electricity and to correspond to hot plug while in the slip mode. CONSTITUTION: An electronic equipment with common connector is composed of status determination, confirmation, notification, detection, and initiation. Host computer's connection status is determined by the reversal of inverter circuit's(9) output signal from high to low(S1). When the connection to the host computer(2) is confirmed, the cancellation of ASIC's(4) slip mode is ordered(S2). Host computer's connection is notified with ASIC interior's USB functions and ASIC interior's USB functions are maneuvered(S3). On command is issued according to on/off switch(7)(S4). When the host computer detects the connection with the digital camera(1), the communication between the digital camera and the host computer is initiated.
