摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A direct sequence-code division multiple access(DS-CDMA) multi user interference canceler is provided to prevent degradation by measuring energy per signal bit/noise power spectrum density(Eb/No) and a bit error rate(BER) before processing the interference canceler, and by measuring the Eb/No and the BER after processing the interference canceler to compare characteristics of the canceler before being processed with characteristics after being processed, to optimally compensate an automatic gain controller(AGC) to allocate bits of receiving analog signals after converting the signals into digital signals. CONSTITUTION: A direct sequence-code division multiple access(DS-CDMA) multi user interference canceler, comprises a variable gain amplifier(13), a preliminary demodulator, a measurer, a receiving characteristics comparator, and a receiving quality collector(17). A gain of the variable gain amplifier is controlled by a control signal. The preliminary demodulator previously acquires receiving characteristics of receiving signals of many users before processing the interference canceler, and informs each interference cancel stages of acquired data. The measurer measures the receiving characteristics of the signals on each cancel stage after processing the interference canceler. The receiving characteristics comparator compares the characteristics before processing the interference canceler and the characteristics after processing the interference canceler. The receiving quality collector collect compared results from every interference cancel stage.</p>
