PURPOSE: A method for controlling an operating frequency of a BLCD motor is provided to accurately control an operating frequency of a BLCD motor by differentially applying PWM voltages. CONSTITUTION: An actual operating frequency of a motor. If the actual operating frequency differs from an object operating frequency, a PWM voltage is changed in a certain region. If the actual operating frequency differs from the object operating frequency, the number of regions which change the PWM voltage in one rotation of the motor is increased or decreased. If the actual operating frequency is under the object operating frequency, the PWM voltage is increased in a certain region. According to the method for controlling an operating frequency of a BLCD motor, an operating frequency of a BLCD motor is accurately controlled by differentially applying PWM voltages.
