METHOD FOR FABRICATING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a plasma display panel is to enhance the evenness of a dielectric layer and a protective layer, thereby preventing damage of the protective layer during the attaching process of the panel. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a plasma display panel comprises the steps of: forming a transparent electrode(6) of a selected pattern on a substrate(1); forming a first dielectric layer(8a) on the entire surface of the substrate including the transparent electrode; patterning the first dielectric layer; forming a metal electrode(7) on the patterned dielectric layer; forming a second dielectric layer(8b) on the entire surface of the resultant substrate; and forming on the second dielectric layer a protective layer(9) for protecting the second dielectric layer from the damage due to damage of the discharge.
