The printed circuit board assembly (4) is carried between the stations by a transporter (1) on the end of a robot arm (2). It is picked up from an input conveyor belt (6) and taken to a processing station (9) where it is sawn (10) and milled (13) into a number of smaller circuit boards. The individual smaller boards are corried to an output station (22) where the individual units are placed on the output conveyor (24).
