PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an alternating current/direct current converter, even if a system connected with the inverter side becomes a no-power supply system or no-voltage system. SOLUTION: An alternating current/direct current converter performs rectification or inversion with a commutation capacitor, placed between a transformer and a converter connected with an alternating-current system. The alternating current/direct current converter is provided with a phase generating means 95, which is for determining the reference for the voltage phase of the system connected with the inversion side, if the system connected with the inversion side becomes a no-power supply system or becomes a no-voltage system, before the startup of the converter and the phase of the inversion-side converter is controlled, using phase information generated by the phase generating means 95. |
