HANDWRITTEN NOTE INDEX GENERATION METHOD, INK WORK EQUIVALENT CLASS IDENTIFICATION METHOD, COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM AND COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can automatically generate an index to a handwritten note according to the strokes of digital ink. SOLUTION: A distribution curve is produced to show the relation between the occurrence frequency of plural pairs of the ink work included in a handwritten note and the pair-wise distance. A sudden changing pointτof the distribution curve is approximated over an entire pair-wise distance set on the distribution curve by a 1st line 710 tilting from 0 to the pointτand a 2nd line 720 tilting at a fixed angle against the pointτ. The sudden change of the distribution curve is selected as the threshold that is used for the clustering.
