The fastener body (6) is made from a material with a m.pt. of 90-250 deg.C and comprises two separate parts with column and wall contact surfaces (8, 9). A fastener is received by an opening (12) extending through the second part. An anchor for securing a metal support column (4) to a (fire) wall (1) comprises a fastener body and a fastener for securing the body to the wall. The fastener body is made from a material with a m.pt. of 90-250 deg.C and comprises a first part with a column contact surface (8) and an adjacent second part with a wall contact surface (9) spaced apart from and extending at right angles to the column contact surface. The fastener is received by an opening extending through the second part. Independent claims are also included for (a) an assembly comprising the wall, support column and anchors, and (b) the fastener body.
