PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral equipment controller which facilitates the operation setting of peripheral equipment. SOLUTION: This peripheral equipment controller that controlling the operation setting of a printer connected to a personal computer has a displaying part 6 showing plural operation setting items for a printer 2, an inputting part 7 inputting operating setting, a controlling part 3, a RAM 5 on which a control program is recorded, etc. The part 3 can facilitate the operation setting of the printer by controlling so that an operation setting item designated by the part 7 can be shown on one screen of the part 6 after selecting the display of 'custom image edition' shown on the operation setting screen for the printer.
