PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain effective maintenance/inspection jobs of parts of a recording part for recording the images on the recording paper by placing those parts on the bottom surface of the main body of an image forming device. SOLUTION: The upper sidewall of a paper feed cassette store part 24 serves as a mechanism support stand 31 to support the mechanism parts of a reading part, a recording part, etc., and forms the bottom surface of the main body of an image forming device. A sensor attachment part (remaining amount sensor) 60, pickup rollers 46l and 46r, etc., are placed on the under surface of the stand 31. When all bolts 59 fastened to the stand 31 are removed, a guide plate 58 is easily detached from a lower exterior cover 12. Thus, it is not required to disassemble the main body of the image forming device to attain the effective maintenance/inspection jobs of the sensor 60, the rollers 46l and 46r, etc. In particular, the effective replacement is made possible for the rollers 46l and 46r.
