<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data delivery method where processing capability consumed by a server for reservation of a resource amount is almost not increased even when the number of reception nodes being simultaneous delivery destinations is increased. SOLUTION: Information to identify a transfer rate and a reception node is sent/received between a transmission node 101, reception nodes 104, 106, routers 103, 105 belonging to the same network. The routers 102, 103, 105 receiving this identification information execute resource reservation and construction of routing information. Then the transmission node 101 transmits consecutive media data by a packet in compliance with an IP compatible format. The routers 102, 103, 105 copy packets through DMA without adopting memory copy. The routers 103, 105 belonging to the same network as the reception nodes 104, 106 convert the received packet into an IP packet and delivers the IP packet to the reception nodes.</p> |
