<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laser beam wavelength conversion device which is small in size, is less changed with lapse of time, does not give rise to the occurrence of contamination by lubricating oil, etc., and has a phase matching angle regulating method. SOLUTION: A crystal supporting member 22 which disposes and supports a nonlinear optical crystal 10 on a laser optical axis is formed by having an arcuate orbital surface 22a on a surface including this laser optical axis and regulating the incident angle of the crystal. The nonlinear optical crystal 10 is freely movably disposed in the laser optical axis on this orbital surface to constitute the laser wavelength conversion device. The regulation of the phase matching conditions is executed by changing the incident angle of the liquid crystal laser beam Li by moving the nonlinear optical crystal 10 on the orbital surface 22a, thereby making the incident angle coincident with the phase matching angle. The nonlinear optical crystal is constituted to include a temperature regulating means. The phase regulating angle is changed by changing the crystal temperature and the regulation is executed by regulating and controlling the phase matching angle so as to make the same coincident with the incident angle.</p> |
