PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scroll texts in frames divided in an arbitrary number of windows at the same time without limiting the kinds and number of the texts. SOLUTION: If a text is scrolled in one of divided text display frames 102, the text display frame 102 informs a text display means 101 of the scrolling. The text display means 101 which is informed retrieves the frame ID of the text display frame 102 from a frame management table 103 and obtains its group ID. Then the text display means 101 retrieves an entry having the group ID from a frame management table 103 and sends a scroll indication for the text to the text display frame 102 having the frame ID of the entry. Consequently, an arbitrary number of texts are displayed in text display frames 102 and can be scrolled at the same time.
