The invention relates to conjugated polymers which contain triptycene units. According to the invention, the polymers are homopolymers made up of a repeating unit which contains a triptycenyl radical and copolymers made up of two or more different repeating units which may contain a triptycenyl radical or an arylene, heteroarylene, vinylene and ethinylene radical. The inventive polymers are used as electroluminescence materials.
