PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a picture input device except for a self-device on the copying of a prescribed original by receiving a picture signal and first prescribed information setting a picture input device, adding prescribed information and second prescribed information setting the self-device to the picture signal and forming a picture based on information adding first and second prescribed information. SOLUTION: A picture which is read by CCD 208 is fetched into a controller 102 based on an instruction from a host computer 101, it is converted into RGB or YMCK data and is held in a memory 109 in the controller 102. The host computer 101 sends data to the controller 102 and acquires the physical address of a network unit, which is kept in the host computer 101. The controller 102 transmits the physical address of the host computer 101 to an information addition circuit 111 and analyzes the output picture. Thus, ID information and the physical address are obtained. |
