PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power, and also improve safety and functionability by forming a plug insertion part of an outlet into a rotary structure, and turning a plug of a wiring cord in the condition that the plug is inserted, and flowing and cutting off of the current inside of the outlet. SOLUTION: A switch outlet body 6 of a switch outlet is provided with a copper plate 7 for current contact point, and the copper plate 7 is pushed to a plug insertion port body 1 side by a copper plate presser spring 8 for current contact point. Each copper plate 2 for current contact point is provided in both sides of the insertion port body 1 so as to be electrically connected to the plug insertion port. A plug is inserted into the plug insertion port, and the plug is turned so as to flow or cut off of the current at a contact point of each copper plate 7, 2 for current contact point inside of the body 6. The plug can be pulled out in the cutting off condition that the current is not flowed to the plug insertion port. Damage of an apparatus due to the frequent insertion and drawing of the plug can be prevented, and an intermediate switch of a cord for electric apparatus can be omitted.
