PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that prevents separation or the like of an adhesive portion to improve air tightness, by interposing a charging member between a first joint member adhered to an side edge of a first panel and a second member adhered to an side edge of a second panel. SOLUTION: A joint portion 22 seals between a first metal member 4 and a second metal member 5, and is joined at the end of outer peripheral sides of the first and second metal members 4, 5. The first metal member 4 is adhered to an side edge of a rear plate 1 through an adhesive 9, and the second metal member 5 is adhered to an side edge of a face plate 2 through the adhesive 9. A charging member 8 for restraining change of interval between the first and second metal members 4, 5 is interposed between them, thickness of the charging member 8 in the interval direction is set so that the thickness before joining of the first and second metal members 4, 5 is larger than that after the joining of them, and inside of a vacuum container is kept vacuum.
