<p>The invention concerns the field of triboelectricity and more particularly a device comprising means for applying a polarising voltage to a material, referred to as first material below, said means comprising a voltage source, a polarising amplifier and electrodes. The invention is characterised in that the material is a polymer or an organic product whether dielectric or not, piezoelectric or slightly piezoelectric and the electrodes are not integral with said material, thereby enabling the electrodes to move relatively to the material with friction. Such a device can, for instance, be used in electromechanical transducers utilised in sonar antennae.</p> |
