<p>There is provided a dispensing apparatus in which the housing (10) includes a cover (20) pivotally attached to a backing plate (40). The cover (20) is movable from a fully open position in which a liquid container (64) may be inserted therein to a closed position, and the cover (20) may be latched to the backing plate (40) in the closed position. When closed, the cover (20) may be pushed from a non-dispensing position in which no liquid is dispensed from the container (64) to an engaging position in which a projection (72) on the interior surface of the cover (20) engages and actuates a bulb-type pressure valve (68) to dispense liquid from the container (64) through a dispensing tube (60) from the bottom of the housing (10).</p> |
