PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operational amplifier that employs a simple configuration, requires no special manufacture process and has an excellent characteristic from the standpoint of a load drive capability. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier is provided with a differential circuit (input stage) 101 that receives a data signal, an output circuit (output stage) 102 that drives a load, and a constant current adjustment circuit (variable capacitance constant current source) 103 consisting of multi-stage current mirror circuits. The constant current adjustment circuit 103 adjusts a value of a constant current supplied to the load via the output circuit 102 in a way that the constant current is smaller when a load impedance is high and higher when the load impedance is small.
