PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk device for measuring and correcting the amount of offset without making unstable focusing and tracking control even if an optical disk suffers from face defection and the external vibration of the optical disk device. SOLUTION: An optical disk device is composed of an optical disk 113, a sensor 101, an error signal synthesis circuit 102, an arithmetic unit 103, a drive circuit 108, an actuator 109, and a laser beam application circuit 110. The arithmetic unit 103 is composed so that it detects the amount of eccentricity of the optical disk due to an amount-of-eccentricity detection part, detecting the amount of tracking error fluctuation due to an amount-of-error fluctuation measurement part, and changes the hold time of focus control and tracking control for measuring offset according to the measurement result of both of them.
