PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference canceller whose circuit scale is made small in CDMA communication for multi-code transmission. SOLUTION: In this interference canceller, when a spread code is multiplied by a reception signal, a code used for each channel is not individually multiplied together, but instead, a multi-value spread code generator 7 and a multiplier 9 in reception sections 1-4 sums codes, generates a multi-value spread code and multiplies it by the received signal. After channel estimate and RAKE synthesis, a multi-value discrimination section 12 discriminates the multi-value data signal and a re-spread sections 15-18 again apply spread processing to the signal obtained through RAKE synthesis, a synthesis section 21 synthesis the re-spread signals to obtain an estimate interference signal. Codes for all channels to be received are summed and inversely spread to process the multi- value signal, so as to integrate interference cancellation circuits which were required for the number of channels into one unit, hence the circuit scale can remarkably be reduced drastically. |
