<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimum processing after the reception of electronic mail by specifying a field, in which the present mail address of received electronic mail is included, and switching processing after electronic mail reception corresponding to that specified field. SOLUTION: Network facsimile equipment NFA is connected to a mail server device MSA as a POP server by a POP protocol and confirms whether electronic mail addressed to the present equipment is received or not. When the electronic mail addressed to the present equipment is received, the field including the present mail address is specified from the header part of received electronic mail by investigating it out of plural fields storing the present mail address as the destination to transmit. Corresponding to that specified field, processing after electronic mail reception is switched.</p> |
