PROCESS METHOD AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR CALLING METHOD OF SERVER OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate with another Java application to be executed in a non-Java environment by using an adapter generated by internal observation on an EJB interface executed on a CORBA server. SOLUTION: Concerning a component to be used for providing a method for calling the remote method of a server object, a client 750 has a client object 752 packaged in a certain language and a server 772 has server objects 770 packaged in various languages. The client 750 is provided with an adapter 754 and the adapter 754 simulates the call of the remote method on a server object 770 by an object reference for the client object 752. The client object 752 calls a method in the adapter 754 and this method calls an object reference 756 and starts object communication with the server 772.
