PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check abnormality of an ESL system(electric shelf label display change system). SOLUTION: The ESL system 10 is equipped with a plurality of ESLs 14 and an ESL server 11. The ESLs 14 are arranged near respective articles and display information regarding the respective articles. The ESL server 11 transmits the information on the articles to the ESLs 14 by radio and also receive information from the ESLs 14. The ESL server 11 has a CPU, a display screen, and a hard disk. On the hard disk, an article information file is stored. Further, the ESL server 11, when detecting abnormality of an ESL 14, specifies the ESL 14 and displays the abnormality on the display screen.
