PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor and a processing method which can effectively and economically process an object which has a metal or organic matter as a constituent material. SOLUTION: This processor is equipped with an airtight door 115 and a retort 115c as interface for taking out the gas-form excreta including the evaporated matter from the object being the target of processing heated in decompressed condition within a second airtight chamber 103 while keeping the condition within the second airtight chamber. The retort 115c screens the airtight door 115b in open condition when it is inserted into the first opening 103b of the second airtight chamber from the second airtight chamber 103, which prevents the gas-form excreta from condensing at the airtight door. Accordingly, this processor can take out condensate while keeping the condition of the temperature, pressure, etc., within the airtight chamber. The productivity of the processing rises sharply by the continuous operation of such processor.
