When shift registers SR1 to SRn/2 are operating, a data line A is selected by the switch S4 and when shift registers SRn/2 to SRn are operating, a data line B is selected by the switch. An analog signal is sampled and held by shift pulses RO1 to ROn to be generated by the shift registers and data lines of a liquid crystal display panel are driven with these voltage values, When the shift pulse is swept out from the SRn, the state of the SW4 becomes an open state.
