PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collecting tube holder less limited in the kind of blood collecting tubes to be used, less limited in the holding manner of the blood collecting tube holder, easily operable, and easily washable when contaminated with blood. SOLUTION: This blood collecting tube holder 2 comprises a slip off preventive ring 6 mounted on a cylindrical holder body 5 so that elastic nipping parts 6d, 6e can be fitted to the opening parts 5a, 5d on the side surfaces thereof, and the distance between the elastic nipping part can be increased by operating a width extending member inserted to the cut part of the slip off preventive ring 6. The elastic nipping parts 6d, 6e are inclined so that the distance between the elastic nipping parts is reduced toward the blood collecting needle retaining part, and the distance between the elastic nipping parts in the blood collecting needle retaining part-side end is set smaller than the outer diameter of the plug body.
