PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eaves edge structure which can quickly remove the snow moved along a slate roof without damaging eaves gutters and without staying it for a long time and can easily prevent the occurrence of such a phenomenon that the snow creeps in beetween the slate and a backing plate. SOLUTION: This eaves edge structure 10 comprises an eaves metal plate 13 covering the tip surface of a backing plate 12, a slat roof 11 arranged on the top face of this eaves metal plate 13 and extended to a position just this side of the tip of the backing plate 12 so that the rain water falling and snow lying on the slate roof 11 are removed through the surface of the eaves metal plate 13. In addition, the saves metal plate 13 comprises a top face plate section 14, which extends from a portion held between the backing plate 12 and the slate roof 11 to the tip face of the backing plate 12, an end face plate section 15, which bends from this top face plate section 14 and extends along the end face of the back plate 12, and a water dripping and snow dropping plate 16, which bends from this end face plate 15 and extends downward more than the pitch of the roof and oblique and frontward.
