PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary, small-scaled, and lightweight washer which can be used in surroundings where fire needs to be avoided. SOLUTION: In this washer, water compressed by a pump is heated by a heating device 14 and the water of high temperature and high pressure is jetted to a material to be washed. The heating device 14 is provided with: a cylindrical body 24; an electric heater 24 inserted with play into the cylindrical body 24; a spiral flow passage 38 which is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the electric heater 25 and the inner surface of the cylindrical body 24 and in which water fed from the pump flows; a casing 19 housing the cylindrical body 24; and a heat insulator 39 packed in a clearance between the cylindrical body 24 and the casing 19.
