PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building principally for residential and lodging use in which lighting and ventilation of room are enhanced along with sound insulation of floor and heat stored through use of night power can be utilized efficiently for cooling/heating in day time. SOLUTION: A well 8 is made in the center of a room 5 and the air being supplied from a heat carrier supply mechanism in a building is passed through the hollow section in the wall 81 of the well 8 in order to utilize the wall 81 as a heat storage medium. Since air delivery ducts and attached facilities are not required additionally nor a larger support is required, construction cost and maintenance cost can be reduced. Furthermore, floor span is shortened to enhance rigidity and sound insulation is enhanced for other downstairs rooms 5. Ventilation and lighting of the room 5 are also enhanced because a window is made in the wall 81.
