BURNER FLAME MONITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a burner flame monitor in which missing of entire flame can be determined surely even if the dummy of a corresponding discrete flame detector is turned on when it is adjusted for trial operation and countermeasures, e.g. interruption of fuel supply to each burner, can be taken quickly. SOLUTION: A flame monitor circuit 6 recognizes presence of discrete flame of a corresponding burner 2 based on a detection signal 5 from a discrete flame detector 4 and recognizes presence of entire flame in a furnace based on a detection signal 26 from an entire monitoring flame detector 25. The burner flame detector is arranged to make a decision that the entire flame is missed when the entire flame in the furnace is not recognized at all even if a dummy switch recognizing presence of discrete flame unconditionally is turned on for a desired discrete flame detector 4.
