PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of an attaching protrusion of a guide member having a band guide and a sliding plate in a rodless cylinder. SOLUTION: When a piston mount 24 advances in one advancing direction, a guide member 40 located on a side opposite to the advancing direction undergoes a force of moving the guide member 40 in a direction opposite to the advancing direction due to sliding resistance of a sliding plate 43. Accordingly, the protruding portion 48 pressure-contacts to a wall surface 25b of a recess portion 25a of the piston mount 23, and hence moved in an engaged condition. However, since a length of the protrusion portion 48 with respect to a cylinder moving direction is set to 1.5 times a plate thickness t of the sliding plate 43, the protrusion portion 48 is large in strength, which prevents the protruding portion 48 to be broken, even if the above-mentioned engagement is repeated.
