PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure and a method for fixing a linear part connected to a compressor which can be simplified. SOLUTION: This structure and a method for fixing a linear part connected to a compressor are provided such that when a linear second part formed of a lead wire 2 is fixed at a first part consisting of a front housing 1 constituting a part of the outline of a compressor, a recessed part in a U-shaped groove 4 is formed in the first part, and a tubular elastic body 3 is fitted in an inserted state in the second part and securely mounted in the recessed part.
