AQUEOUS SUSPENSION AGENT AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous suspension agent of 9-[(2-hydroxyethoxy) methyl]guanine having a uniform particle diameter and a good dispersion state. SOLUTION: This aqueous suspension agent is produced by preparing an aqueous solution showing pH<=2 by dissolving 9-[(2-hydroxyethoxy) methyl]guanine and a water soluble polymer, and adjusting the solution to show pH 3-9 for precipitating the medicine having uniform <=40μm particle diameter to obtain an aqueous suspension having a good dispersion state. The aqueous suspension can be administered to a local part such as eyes.
