PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small net-spreading device having a high utility value, because a fishing net lifted from the sea to a ship is narrowly gathered to the width of a roller in a state containing twists, tangles and the like and further because works for loosing, laterally spreading and treating the lifted fishing net is very difficult and dangerous due to the large swinging of the fishing net. SOLUTION: This device for spreading a round haul net is obtained by rotatably attaching a roller portion 25 having draw drums 2, 4 only for sinkers and floats, respectively, at both the ends to a suspended frame, attaching plural spiral net spreading members to the roller 25, and variably forming the spiral pitches of the spiral net-spreading members to control the distribution rate of the net. The suspended frame is independently and upward facingly attached to a fishing boat derrick boom which is rotatably and upward facingly formed and has a power block at the tip.
