PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low wear elongation silent chain capable of preventing locker pins from rattling in a pin hole provided in a plate and reducing the wear elongation of chain through preclusion of eccentric wear generated between the two members. SOLUTION: Each locker pin 3/4 has a first non-contacting surface F1 confronting the inside circumferential surface of a pin hole 2 provided in a plate 1, a pair of load receiving surfaces C continued to the circumferential direction ends of the first non-contacting surface F1, and a second non-contacting surface F2 which couples the load receiving surfaces with the circumferential direction ends of the locker surface R, wherein part of the inside surface of the pin hole 2 is formed as a pair of seating faces S to be put in alignment with the two load receiving surfaces of the locker pin 3 for hindering the locker pin 3 from rotating within the pin hole 2. According to this configuration in which the two load receiving surfaces of the locker pin 3 are supported in alignment with the seating faces of the pin hole 2, the locker pins are prevented from rotationg or rattling within the pin hole 2.
