PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding worm shaping method, shaping tool and shaping device capable of rapidly forming a topology of a grinding worm. SOLUTION: In this method of shaping a grinding worm with a corrected topology for continuously grinding gear teeth, a shaping tool 4 having a single basic shape and a deformed topology required correcting the grinding worm 1, at its working-polishing surfaces 6, 7, 8, is used, and the shaping tool 4 is moved along the outline 2 of the grinding worm during shaping in such a manner that points on the working-polishing surfaces 6, 7, 8 come into contact with preselected corresponding points on the flanks of the grinding worm 1. |
