PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid separating container, capable of controlling decline in particle/sample solution separation (B/F separation) speed, while maintaining nucleic acid binding avidity high. SOLUTION: This container 1 has a plurality of containers 1a. Each container 1a has a sample inlet port 3 and sample outlet port 4, the latter serving as the bottom of the container 1a and being provided with a silicon oxide composite particle structure 2. The structure 2 is a composite of smaller-diameter silicon oxide particles 7 and larger-diameter resin particles, wherein the particles 7 are sufficiently small to maintain its nucleic acid binding avidity high and the resin particles are sufficiently large to secure its water permeability, thereby controlling decline in passing rate of the sample solution. These design consideration realize the nucleic acid separation container, which can control decline in B/F separation speed, while maintaining nucleic acid binding avidity high.
